I'm still shocked...

Happy Sunday Legend!

Yesterday, I was at a birthday party of one of my best friends, Andi.

He turned 34.

A lot of my friends who I know for 25+ years were there as well.

It was a nice evening, it was great to see the boys again after a long time.

Later that evening, the topic work, and retirement came up.

They started to argue about retiring in about 20 years. (Insane enough)

I was silent.

I knew if I start arguing now, they’ll crush me down with their 9-5 bullshit.

Because I have no big results to show yet.

But you can imagine how shocked I was, sitting there with friends you spend time with for 25 years, and suddenly you got a whole different picture of them.

No one of them got the intention to make a change, start a side hustle, or just think about how shit their lives truly are.

Talking about how fucked up it is to be at work the whole day just to have 1 hour with their kids at home…

But no word on how they can change that.

I felt alone, surrounded by my best friends.

One of them, Tobias, was there as well.

He got a doctor title in electrical engineering.

It’s almost impossible to speak with him about topics like this, or corona, or how the system is a fucking scam.

For him, the News is the ultimate truth and if you say something else, you’re a conspiracy theorist.

It’s truly shocking to me that people my age have this mindset and are so brainwashed.

This evening yesterday opened my eyes.

Now I need even more to break out of the bullshit system, build my business, and show them facts and results to wake them up.

I wasn’t ready…

When I started the Legends Community, I was absolutely not ready.

When I started this Newsletter, I was not ready. (Still not)

And I’ll start ghostwriting, without being ready.

What I want to say is this: You'll never be “ready”.

I’m writing this Newsletter to 385 people now, you think I imagined that 4 weeks ago?

Hell no!

The thing is, you can prepare for weeks, read 20 books about a topic, or book 10 courses.

You’ll never feel ready.

Just start and figure the rest out along the way.

Try fast and fail faster!

As my daughter was born almost 7 years ago (Holy shit it’s already 7 years..) I was ABSOLUTELY not ready.

Bro I was smoking weed all day and was a kid myself…

But I had no other option than getting my lazy ass up and being a man and good father.

Today I can say, I grew together with my daughter.

I’m responsible for everything in my and her life.

And I’m doing good.

She has everything she needs and wants, I can spend time with her daily, and I’m on a good way to build a sustainable side hustle that hopefully becomes my main income soon.

I know you think about stuff you want to do…

Write this thread, build that course, reach out to clients, whatever…

Just do it Legend!

Don’t think about it, take the first step that’s needed and put your head down.

There is no better time to start than now.
